I suspect it has to de with the trim level and restrictions. I ordered a f450 xlt in April and 450s ordered in Aug, Sept and Oct that are lariat, king ranch, platinum and limited are getting build dates and I still don't have one. The commodities that keep getting mine not built are the wheels, spray in bedliner and 5th wheel prep package so I know how you feel.
