Deaths in 2020

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 33 million people have died of HIV since the start of the pandemic. In 2020, 37.7 million people were living with HIV, and around 680,000 died. As grim as these figures are, that's still down from the 1.3 million people who died of HIV just 10 years earlier in 2010.
Published by WHO; 680,000 people died of HIV-related illnesses worldwide in 2020.

Then there`s a killer that out killed Rona in 2020 and no media coverage... two times more than Rona.

March 31, 2021 - The Leading Causes of Death in the US for 2020

Total deaths in US -    3,358,814

Heart Disease -               690,882

Cancer -                           598,932

Covid 19 -                        345,323

Unintentional -                192,176

Strokes -                          159,050

I really think we all will get at some level or form the Rona but, why so much more concern than the other three million deaths? Money? Control? Politics?

Provisional Mortality Data — United States, 2020

In 2020, approximately 3,358,814 deaths occurred in the United States

The age-adjusted rate was 828.7 deaths per 100,000 population, an increase of 15.9% from 715.2 in 2019. The highest overall numbers of deaths occurred during the weeks ending April 11, 2020, (78,917) and December 2020 (80,656).

Death rates were lowest among persons aged 5–14 years (13.6) and highest among persons aged ≥85 years (15,007.4); age-adjusted death rates were higher among males (990.5) than among females (689.2).

During 2020, COVID-19 was listed as the underlying or contributing cause of 377,883 deaths (91.5 per 100,000 population). COVID-19 death rates were lowest among children aged 1–4 years (0.2) and 5–14 years (0.2) and highest among those aged ≥85 years (1,797.8).

Similar to the rate of overall deaths, the age-adjusted COVID-19–associated death rate among males (115.0) was higher than that among females (72.5).

Yet in the US we intend to mandate, suggest or out of fear vaccinate the lowest effected groups. With less than a years' worth of research

data

The 2020 over 2019 increase in deaths can`t be contributed to only Rona because of the yearly percentage increases across the board. But... that is what we are to interpret from our information outlets.
