CedarCreek
Is it possible to keep the running boards in the out position all the time on a 2022 F350? I go into settings and set it to out, but have to go thru the process every time I shut off the engine then re start it. Saw on line if you unplug the fuse it throws the wrench symbol to the dash Edited December 27, 2021 by CedarCreek

CedarCreek
Because in my opinion from the side the truck looks pretty plain with them in. Besides you should have the option to keep them out, or in automatic mode.
Denao_53
I was actually going to post a similar question. Living in a snow belt, I’ve heard horror stories of these things getting hung up with ice and snow. Wondering if people wish the didn’t have power running boards? BigDutyDiesel
Seems like the answer is no, unless you somehow release the boards and then disable boards electronics in the release state. But as you stated, if unplugging the fuse works , whats wrong with that approach, Is the wrench symbol that intimidating? ?

I wanted the power boards but per the dealer, I couldn’t get them with the black appearance package.
