iHealth is a unit of the Chinese company Andon Health Co. Ltd., according to Reuters. It was awarded a $1.275 billion contract for COVID-19 rapid tests with the U.S. government on Jan. 13, according to the Defense.gov website.

 

Got a company in Indiana and Florida that makes the rapid rona tests too.

A task force comprised of scientists and data specialists at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are working with hospitals nationwide to improve Covid-19 reporting. The group is asking hospitals to report numbers of patients who go to the facility because they have Covid-19 and separate those from individuals who go in for other reasons and test positive after being admitted, the two officials said.

The administration’s goal is to get a more accurate sense of Covid-19’s impact across the country and whether the virus is causing severe disease. Senior Biden health officials have increasingly relied on hospitalization numbers, rather than case counts, to determine how to respond to the virus as well as the efficacy of the vaccines. Lower hospitalization rates could inform the administration’s thinking on public health measures such as masking. More accurate Covid-19 numbers also could provide a better picture of the strain on hospitals and which resources they might need during surges…

“You need a panel of experts to review the cases to adjudicate if a hospitalization is for a person who came in for Covid or with Covid,” Topol said. “It’s not something that is coded in the chart. A lot of people will say an individual came in with Covid, but it was actually the Covid that exacerbated the lung or heart disease.”

Slipping out.... well maybe not slipping cause the CDC has been more confusing than anything from the beginning.

Hmm where are all the out spoken DSA members of congress? The russian pin drops and you can hear it all over DC. Not a word from those that use the word Democratic as an engine to pull their Socialist's train? 

 

Nothing from our DSA members right here in the UAW?  The "UAWD" noooo not United Auto Working Dudes" the "Unite All Workers for Democracy" guy`s haven't put out one of the UAWD fliers calling for the end of the russian invasion? Wait he can`t because the DSA has completely pledged their support on social media and most likely financial support to the Unite All Workers for Democracy. That`s most likely why it`s so quiet from the Chairman of the UAWD that is a member of UAW Local 551. Our resident comrade knows better. 

 

There is a large group of United Auto Workers at Local 551 in full support of the Ukrainian people and have great respect for their President. (hey old guy in DC we need ammo not a ride to exile)  

 

Once again those that have had their democracy taken from them and won it back are more than willing to stand and fight for the democratic process. Democratic Socialist's of America (DSA or Bernie Boys or Squad) and their comrades in the Unite All Workers for Democracy will use the word Democratic only till their Socialist process is in place. All the way back in January 2021, AAA recorded the biggest jump in the national average price since 2009 (surely it’s purely coincidental that 2009 was the beginning of the previous progressive administration).

But, we were going to make so many jobs by capping oil wells.  Unfortunately every time we have experienced "oil shock", the repercussions for the auto industry have been disastrous for domestic automakers. This time, with BEV and PHEV on tap, will we avoid it? The transplants and Tesla have a reputation advantage. Products built at non US facilities (Mach E) helps the corporation, but little for UAW represented facilities.

This oil price shock is going to have massive and long term impact.  Look at the ratio of ICE vehicles currently registered compared to BEV.

 

Consumers feel the pain and start buckling down.  Which means no new cars, no new construction projects.  Construction guys, see fewer people requesting quotes, and don't buy the new work truck,... and on and on.

Gunna be a big old sticky ball of poop rolling over most everything.

From those that just waited forever to get the 80K to 90K super duty to pull the fifth wheel all over the country to those that have those monthly social security checks to stretch. Then the new traditional label peep`s in the auto industry just might get the realization of just how secure their futures are with the 401k nest egg. Dare I say it`s already started to get a little poop pee....  back when the band started playing hail to the chief.

There's reports in IRC, in France, that the life insurance company is not paying out for deaths due to vaccine

 

Friend of my wife's had a relative that died in a motorcycle accident that tested positive for covid and didn't payout on life insurance, because pandemic.

To so many of the group that questioned most of this woohann stuff, this will not come as a big surprise.

 

Here are the facts: "WaPo"    (yeah I know WaPoo) 

 

First, children are not at significant risk of poor outcomes from COVID-19. As of Tuesday, 288 children have died from the disease in the United States, compared with more than 500,000 adults. While the death of any child is devastating, this is similar to the number who dies from influenza each year. 

And COVID-19 deaths in children and adolescents are magnitudes smaller than deaths from suicide, some now driven by school closure. Coronavirus in children can cause potentially dangerous complications — e.g., multi-inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) — but this is very rare and in nearly all cases treatable.

 

Second, viral spread is minimal in schools with appropriate safety precautions, even in communities with a high disease prevalence (significantly higher than the CDC red zone that the CDC suggests middle and high schools be all virtual and elementary schools hybrid).

Dr. Hoeg led a study of 4,876 grade K-12 students and 654 staff members in Wisconsin school districts last fall. COVID-19 test positivity rates reached 41.6% in the community during the study. Notably, despite the majority of ventilation systems not being replaced, with 92% of students wearing masks (no mask wearing during recess), and with variable distancing, there were only seven students (five children grades K-six, and two in grades seven-12) and zero staff who contracted the virus in school. 

 

Similar experiences are published from North Carolina, South Carolina, Chicago and other cities and countries.

We personally know about a dozen friends and relatives that have either been harmed or killed by the jab.  That's not an insignificant number.  Most recent death, our daughters future mother in law.  She developed the all to frequent leg clots.  In an attempt to clear the clot, one broke off and damaged her heart.  THREE unsuccessful open heart surgeries later, she starts having strokes.  Total time in the hospital, most of the 3 months in ICU, can't even begin to imagine the cost of her care.
