Ranger Raptor Spy shots

I suspect that they’re holding back interior dimensions until the Ranger Raptor reveal on Monday, we still don‘t have full details on the V6 diesel or what engine is in the Ranger Raptor, so you can bet there will be also remaining dimensions there too…

I'm also curious about rear seat legroom. The fact that they moved the front axle centerline forward by about 2" might have allowed them to also move the front half of the cab forward by the same amount. That would theoretically move the front seats forward as well thus providing extra leg room for rear seat passengers. The obvious downside of that would be less length in the engine bay since they have also said that the overall length of the truck has not changed. However, they did drop the 3.2L inline five cyl diesel, right? So maybe that allowed them to shorten the engine bay a bit?

Interesting thoughts, I’ll just leave this here

So are you at liberty to say how long before the Ranger Raptor goes into production?

Prob not unless they say something tomorrow.

I'd guess it would be similar to how the Bronco Raptor was launched time framewise, or maybe within 6 months of launch next year.

Next gen Ranger isn't starting production until Summer 2023 so add a few months to that. If they start building it December 2023 technically that's next year.

Hopefully these predictions of $7 gas are wrong because that's going to put a damper on sales of specialty 4x4s, ICE large trucks and SUVs in general.

True, but this is only Feb. 22. If they start building late '23 you might be able to buy one by this time in '24.

Saw this on the drive.com.ua website. Any idea what the logic is behind this and could the part about the Raptor being launched first possibly be applied to NA? Hey, we can dream, right?

"The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor is slated to arrive in European showrooms before the end of 2022 – at a similar time to first Australian showroom arrivals.

Unlike Australia, the Raptor will be the first new-generation Ranger variant to launch in Europe, with lesser variants to follow in the first half of 2023."
