I have never taken delivery of a special order, but I have talked to two buddies that just recently took delivery and both had bumper damage. I suppose this could happen with any delivery, special or not. Outside that, I have personally noticed damage to the paint after having a bed cover installed, so I will be sure to check all that on my delivery. I will be following this as well for other advice. I’ve never seen how they load/unload these trucks. I guess it makes sense if they place them close together on rail cars, they play bumper cars?
