I think for me what the worst part of this process so far is the waiting after it shipped. It has been unloaded off a rail car in Columbia for over a week. The dealer told me “this week” every week for the past 2 so far. I know they can’t control it but it’s definitely frustrating. Especially sense it’s only about 100 miles from the dealership. Original order was placed December 6th.  White  XLT ccsb 7.3 4.30’s with premium package fX4 and all the bells and whistles besides the 5th wheel prep and bed liner that I had to drop. Ordered 20” platinum wheels yesterday for it and I bet they beat the truck to my house 😭

I originally found out when I met my Dealership GM two months ago,  I asked him to check the VVR (Vehicle Visibility Report) for the Status of my Order (10/25/2021)

He stated that I was "Unscheduled Clean" at that time and had been put at Priority 2........He did not give me the Date just that I was assigned a Priority 2.

 

I asked Cyberdman to check my status last week and also asked him to "verify" my Priority status.

 

Today when I called Ford directly, (800 - 392-3673), I asked them what Priority I was at and the Date it was assigned. The person I spoke with told me 01/10/2022.

I also asked if I had any PCO's in my file.........Nothing there.

Thank you for the info.  I will call Ford and try again.  I will also call my dealer and try to get more info from them.  They told me they set my priority to 10 and I have no reason not to believe them but would like to confirm my priority with Ford.

This was after contacting 5 or 6 other dealers who just gave me runaround. Affirmative, I ordered a F-450 KRU. It was serialised on March 17th and based on our VIN #'s, I suspect yours was serialised about the same time. Your post to Cyberdman shows your VIN is 20 before mine.

 

That week my dealer had over 90 Super Dutys in the USOB and he got at least 24 serialised that week. Their website just populated today with 4 F-450's & 4 F-350's all with consecutive VIN numbers. My dealer is in Maple Ridge.

 

Mine was built 9th April and shipped on 12th April. Currently sitting in a Chicago railyard.

 

Did you check with the Maple Ridge Ford dealer?

Hi everyone!

I ordered a F-250 CCSB 7.3. L V8 10-speed, Lariat, black out package November 11,2021 in Ontario.

At time of purchase, my dealer said expect it in April but could be delayed. 
I’ve emailed each month since February. Every email is half a sentence long. 
“no info”. 
Now that I’m better educated, I want to know details. Like is it unscheduled- clean? What is the priority code? 
I asked him for the order number, which I did get, but it’s like pulling teeth. I want to ask for weekly emails or screen shots of the vehicle visibility report but don’t want to anger my salesperson either.

So today I Facebook messaged Ford Canada. They are escalating it to the Ford Regional Customer experience specialist (CXS) who will work with my dealership to hopefully move things along. I’m hoping to get a Ford regional priority code (like a 2). 
cannot wait to get my hands on this baby.

 

I’ve  already had to cancel some trips for May because I need this truck to haul my trailer. I don’t want to have to cancel the entire summer season.

I’m in the US but ordered my F350 Lariat 9/13/21 immediately got priority code 10. In Feb 2022 I was notified it had moved to priority code 2. Nothing since. I contacted Ford last week and was told Unscheduled Clean. Just for reference.

Thanks that does help for reference. I guess I could still be in for a long wait then. Sorry to hear about your September order. I did hear about a guy who owns a landscaping company near me that ordered a fleet F-250 in September and has not received it.

There are many more out there (like myself) that have been waiting longer than September…I will say it does make me laugh when I see people complaining about waiting a few months

We all had to start complaining at some point.  I am sure those who waited 8+ months for their build may have had a thing or two to say after a few months of putting in their order.

 

I am okay with the wait, it's my dealer that stinks.  I am grateful for this forum and especially this thread as it gives me a ton of information.  But once I bring up some of the topics I learned on here, the dealership wants me out of the office pretty much.  It's like we know top secret intel and they don't want to be made a fool of when in reality, I just want a little transparency.

 

For example, my dealer will not tell me how many other orders are ahead of me and will not move me from priority 19 and will not tell me how many allocations they currently have.  But that is their right to give me that information or not and I respect that, but it still leaves me in the dark at the end of the day.

In BC I contacted: Cam Clark in Richmond, Coastal Ford Vancouver, Ocean Park Ford, Magnuson Ford, and AM Ford sales before finally contacting Cam Clark North Vancouver and ordering.

The Window Stickers are created just before the vehicle goes into production with the availability varying anywhere from the day of production to a week prior to production. Wow. And you’re sure you’re a COVP retail order? I saw someone waiting this long had actually been put in as a fleet order by their dealer. Almost 10 months and not scheduled yet? Something is up.

Maybe I’m just stupid but why would you get a dually but not the diesel? Seems kind of goofy to me. Maybe local landscaping outfits with a gooseneck and heavy equipment or something? What use case does that fill that a SRW gasser wouldn’t?

I totally agree with you. I got a reply back from Ford Customer service. No help. They said “talk to your sales rep. They are in the best position to give you up to date info about your order” They only said my order was “Processing”. 
My sales rep says they will let me know when there is a VIN and that I don’t have to keep emailing them.  I would like a more proactive communication strategy. 
I would love to ask about priority code or how many are a head of me or what their allotment is but I think it will only anger them. This guys responses are so short, literally half a sentence. 
Im debating asking for the vehicle visibility report emailed to me weekly. That’s what I would like. But agree with you, that it feels like info they don’t want us to have, like proprietary info.
