Safety6
There is some confusion between my dealership and the F 250 website as to the exact size of the receiver hitch. I’ve ordered a F250 Lariat with the tremor and blackout package 1 June. The website says 2.5 or 3 inch. Can anyone confirm the actual size. I need to buy the correct hitch. Many Thanks
BigUnixGeek
As was just posted in another thread, the RV & Trailer Towing Guide for your model year is what to consult. I don't have the link, but it is easy to find with Google.

sjmcken81
The only way to get the 3” hitch receiver on an F250 is if you order 6.7 PSD with High Capacity Trailer Tow Package (hcttp)…all other F250s, both gas and diesel, have 2.5” receivers. Hope that helps.
