twintornados
Is the name BUZZ a nod to the 60's hippies that smoked a lot of reefer?
akirby
Not my cup of tea personally but very cool and very smart - VW fans will go bonkers.
rmc523
I've never understood the appeal of the bus, and find this thing ugly. But I'm sure plenty will buy it.

That, and a nod to the 20's millennials that are vaping CBD. Actually, I think it may be a marketing ploy, as things EV seem to have an electric hook: Tesla, Volt, Bolt, Mach-e, Lightning... (electrical) BUZZ; also a cute reference to "Bus"
NLPRacing
I love it. Will Ford get a version of it? A new take on the Ford Econoline Falcon would be really sweet.

Missed opportunity to call it a.... Falconoline.
atomcat68
Electric Transit should have been called E-conoline. Ot maybe a little lightning bolt could go in place of the dash in the logo.
AGR
I love VW Buses. We had 2 growing up. I'd love to have a camper version of this.
T-dubz
If I were in the market for a minivan, this would probably be at the top of my list.
92merc
I kinda dig it. If it is smaller like the original bus, it would be a good city size. But the ID4 hasn't received the best of reviews. So if it is anything like that, that would be a nope for me.

Pretty cool, but will it get anywhere near 5 star safety rating with that front end design?

The European ID Buzz is about 185" so roughly the same length as Honda Civic The American ID Buzz will be 195" so roughly the same length as Honda Accord

I know, they've already filed for a trademark for ID California. VW California is the name their camper vans have been called since the early 2000s after they took camper production in house instead of subcontracting the upfitting to Westfalia. I'm fairly confident but not 100% sure that they will sell the ID California in the States. Just a little nugget of info: they stopped importing Westfalias into the US around 1994 or 95. From then on, US-bound campers were upfitted by Winnebago. (who also sold a Class C motorhome with a VW cab and chassis).
