RFT2112
If one was to move an order to a high volume dealer with more allocations would you be shuffled to the end of THEIR line, basically staring over? I’m concerned my dealer isn’t on Fords priority list as far as allocations. At this point not even sure I’m gonna get truck this within the next 4 months. Ordered 12/7/21. akirby
Of course you’d go to the end of the line. It’s a brand new order. If your order is COVP verified then allocation is not an issue.
mattdm
There is no such thing as transferring an order. Youd cancel at one dealer and place a new order at the next. Since the order banks are closed its not possible.

Another point to consider, is I ordered at our local dealership, who is the largest volume dealer in our area, and still waited 8 months. The last person to order had over 90 SD's ahead of them.

For reference I ordered from a medium-ish volume dealership (they specialise in Lincoln afaik) and got my truck in 6 months almost to the day.
