koolman68
Unfortunately things might be slowing down further... https://fordauthority.com/2022/06/ford-production-to-be-scaled-back-at-four-u-s-assembly-plants/ According to that memo, Ford production will be affected at the Chicago Assembly plant, Kansas City Assembly plant, Kentucky Truck plant, and Louisville Assembly plant. The problem stems from cuts made at the Chicago Stamping plant, as outlined in the memo. “Chicago stamping will be implementing a week-to-week temporary starting Monday, June 20th,” the memo says. “The temporary layoff will continue Sunday, September 11th with the plan to return to full-scale production on Monday, September 12th.” Employees at the stamping plant were offered the opportunity to volunteer for temporary layoffs as well.
