con·done | kənˈdōn |
verb [with object, often with negative]
accept and allow (behavior that is considered morally wrong or offensive) to continue: the college cannot condone any behavior that involves illicit drugs.
• approve or sanction (something), especially with reluctance: the practice is not officially condoned by any airline.
-New Oxford American Dictionary. Emphasis mine.

Ford told CNNfn the plant was under the control of the Nazi government at the time -- not its American shareholders.

Not sure the point of that remark.  Nazis are not "entitled to cast stones"?

It's bad that Nazis did it ~80 years ago, in Nazi Germany.

That Hyundai would do it, and then blame the staffing agency, in the USA in 2022, when we hold ourselves and the world to much higher standards no less?  On a whole other level, leapfrogging many levels in between.
