Doesn't roll off the tongue as well when spoken, but it lines up with the longhand name. And their url, https://northamericancaroftheyear.org. doesn't even include "truck." Pretty long to type, but in the drag & drop age, needs updating. Second: Their logo. There isn't a Mexican flag. Sure they are included in the background silhouette of North America, but no flag.Why? Mexico exports vehicles here as well as Canada. Next time you're at the grocery store, walk down the ethnic foods isle. Mexican food? Check. Canadian food? Nope. I think the reason for not having a flag for Mexico in the NACOTY logos pertains to the nationalities of the 50 journalists that comprise the jury. Currently, only journalists from U.S. and Canada are represented on the jury. Meet the NACTOY Jurors - North American Car Utility & Truck of the Year (northamericancaroftheyear.org) I do agree with you that it's surprising no Mexico based media organizations fielded jurors for NACOTY, given that Mexico's automotive industry is the second largest in North America. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
