Whatever..that’s the deal.. get it in writing with a contract made out to your name. By the time the truck is built, there will be at least 1-2 price jumps. When the truck come in, you will pay whatever price jumps that happen above your agreement plan whether from x plan, MSRP, or what invoice currently is, and THEN the dealership sends checks directly back to you for the difference from the previously agreed amount.. I agree. I’m sure that’s done every day by dishonest dealers.. But if you find a dealer that does business the right way, you will receive your difference. sd350 Posted November 7, 2022 Share Posted November 7, 2022 not sure if this is the correct place to post this, My dealer just got in 5 SD XLT to XL & STX 1 lariat on the window by the sticker was a market adjustment of $5000.00 on each truck. some trucks didn`t even have fender badges just a flat black plastic cover. 1 truck also had an 8' fisher & which was $8000.00, my 1st plow was $800.00 in 1978 my 2014 was $ 3000.00. That’s separate from Ford-mandated priced increases. Yes, many dealers mark up stock orders and cancelled retail (custom) orders. If you buy off the lot, you have no price protection.
