Price protection

From previous experience..

The deal that you signed up for, whether x plan, MSRP. Whatever..that’s the deal.. get it in writing with a contract made out to your name.
By the time the truck is built, there will be at least 1-2 price jumps.

When the truck come in, you will pay whatever price jumps that happen above your agreement plan whether from x plan, MSRP, or what invoice currently is, and THEN the dealership sends checks directly back to you for the difference from the previously agreed amount..

I received three checks from a previous order totaling around $1,750 which made it right.

That’s not required though.  The dealer has the option to just charge the original price and keep the rebate.

I agree. I’m sure that’s done every day by dishonest dealers..

But if you find a dealer that does business the right way, you will receive your difference.

not sure if this is the correct place to post this, My dealer just got in 5 SD XLT to XL & STX 1 lariat on the window by the sticker was a market adjustment of $5000.00 on each truck. some trucks didn`t even have fender badges just a flat black plastic cover. 1 truck also had an 8' fisher & which was $8000.00, my 1st plow was $800.00 in 1978 my 2014 was $ 3000.00.

That’s separate from Ford-mandated priced increases. Yes, many dealers mark up stock orders and cancelled retail (custom) orders. If you buy off the lot, you have no price protection.
