What happened to Fordinsidenews?

It seems the forum is dead now. I used to enjoy the discourse over there as a Ford fan growing up before I found Blueovalforums and other auto blogs! Did something happen?

I know that the main moderator at FIN became discouraged with Ford when it discontinued most of the sedan models and stopped posting.  He posted here a lot also, but I don't remember his name.

Looks like the forum was taken over by another company in May of 2022 and died after that

Forum activity started to drop significantly even prior to the Bronco launch. By 2021, FIN was pretty much dead.

I recall this internet troll started to make the forums toxic since he would pretty much fight everyone enthusiastic about Fords.

FordInsideNews was always a slow forum (which is why I have always enjoyed BlueOvalForums much more).
