armanmal
So guys I am a lucky owner of MKZ 2017 purchased salvaged in the US and imported to my country (Armenia). It is a common business to get a salvage car and then repair it. I faced a big issue and realized after purchase (due to a lack of research as I consider that MKZ is an east buzy as it's a fusion's bro) that exterior parts are a serious issue. I found a bumper in the US and all parts on the bumper in China. The most challenging is the hood, as it is slightly damaged and needs to be replaced. My Chinese supplier specializing in Lincoln MKZ offered a hood, but by the time I contacted them, they were out of stock for alumina and in stock for iron. Supplier confirmed they export iron hoods for MKZ a lot and I do not have to worry about it, the only thing it is heavier. So far I ordered an iron hood. It has arrived and looks good, but my master says - I might have a problem, cause it is heavier and there should be problems with that... So here is my question Has anyone in the US or out of the US like in Ukraine (where most of MKZ are imported) ever installed an iron hood? Anyone has installed an iron hood on a ford fusion? So far these are the same cars! Thanks in advance for your attention :)
twintornados
When you say "iron" do you really mean sheet metal?
