RedHoncho01
I spoke to my dealership today. Supposedly, my 2024 BL FHEV Nautilus was built today. I am hoping this means the vehicle I receive will have the hybrid engine and rear shock absorber issues resolved along with the updated software.

Let me know when you get it and I want to see what I'm missing. Curious what mine would have looked like.
RedHoncho01
I finally have official confirmation my vehicle was built. The VIN I had been checking that was provided by the Lincoln Concierge was incorrect. After speaking with my dealership this morning, I got the correct VIN. My vehicle has been built and released. Now, it just needs to be shipped to port and put on a RORO headed for Portland.
Flying68
Showing as shipped as of 6/4. Yesterday though it still showed as built. Either way the window sticker is still 404.pdf, so no joy there. My salesperson said she hasn't seen an invoice yet and seems to think that they don't actually get an invoice until it hits the port in Portland, guess once it clears customs, which from a Ford billing standpoint would make sense. I suppose the window sticker will go active then also. Just under 2 months from order to build, about another month from build to shipping. I am guessing 4 to 6 weeks on the boat and another 4 to 6 weeks to get to the dealer. So looking at 2 to 3 more months likely.

I'm guessing that your salesperson thinks that physical invoices are sent to the dealership via mail which is not the case. Both Dealer Invoices and Window Stickers are available to the dealership online with the Window Stickers available via the FordDirect database, or the Lincoln counterpart. The Dealer Invoice and Window Sticker are generated just before production to reflect the final vehicle specifications. There's no reason to believe that these documents would be produced at a later date because of the foreign production. In addition, U.S. Customs should have no bearing on production of these documents. I would recommend talking directly to the Sales Manager, as Sales Representatives are often not familiar with the retail order process or have access to the resources available to provide accurate information. No she has been looking on their order bank. She said the Nautilus has been different than all the other models. If the Nautilus was the same as the other models, I would have had my window sticker a month ago, but it still isn't available through any site (the Lincoln order tracker or the various Ford window sticker websites), it is still a 404.pdf. She specifically told me that they have not been getting invoices on the Nautilus until they were in country, she didn't know why, I suspect it is a customs thing or Ford is just not billing the dealer until it hits Portland.
RedHoncho01
At long last, my 2024 Nautilus has shipped today. Today also just happens to be my birthday! Based upon this timing, my dealer expects to have it in mid-August. 2

Is that when the window sticker was available? Curious, when was your ship date, I am guessing somewhere around the 2nd week of April? Just trying to gauge transit times. My ship date April 28th Arrived in Port May 24th looks like it was loaded to rail car June 8th. My window sticker was available shortly after it left port of Shanghai. But I could not get anymore tracking until it was scanned at the off load.
Flying68
Thank you both. My understanding and my dealers understanding was the same about window stickers (and invoices) not being available until after port arrival. 6 weeks from departure to on a rail car seems reasonable.
Flying68
Was poking around on my dealer's website and my Nautilus is listed on their webpage. So that is a positive sign that it is getting closer. The order tracking website doesn't have the window sticker yet, but I tried through fordwindowsticker.com and was able to pull it. Showed an invoiced date of 6/20, which is exactly 1 week from when the order tracker was last updated. My ship date was 6/4. So I am assuming it was sent to the dock on 6/4. Departed on the container ship on 6/13. Waiting for my salesperson to get me an update from vinview.
Flying68
Well that didn't take long. She said it was in Portland. Hasn't cleared customs or been loaded on a train yet. Gave me the invoice. MSRP was up $130 from when we ordered, but the X-Plan price was slightly lower than I had from the x-plan build and price.
RedHoncho01
My vehicle arrived in Portland on 7/5 and boarded a railcar on 7/9. I still can't pull up my window sticker via the Lincoln order tracking site. If I go to fordwindowsticker.com I can pull it up but it is missing 2 options: towing and all weather mats & cargo packages. When I look at the order tracking site it shows those options. I'll have to contact my dealer to see what is happening. I have heard of other people ordering options that were missing on their vehicles when they arrived at their dealership. RedHoncho01
Vger is on it's last leg of the trip from Hangzhou China to Columbus, Ohio. Today, he boarded a convoy truck to go from Flat Rock, Michigan to Columbus, Ohio. Once my 2021 Corsair buy back is done and the dealer installed options are completed I should have him in my garage by this time next week!
Naut2go
That's great news you are going to love it, even with the screen black outs... Easy fix though.
escapeman
Mine is sitting at the rail yards in Toronto Ontario. It is a 20 minute drive to my dealer, that is when it gets loaded on to a carrier. Been there for 3 days now.
Flying68
Well the tracking site was last updated 7/25 on ours. Still waiting for my sales person to give me an update from VINVIEW. Last we knew it was sitting in Portland waiting to clear customs and get on a train. Edited July 26, 2024 by Flying68
Flying68
Salesperson responded Friday that our '24 was still in Oregon but had an ETA of 9/8 to 9/14. For the life of me I can't understand why it takes so darn long to get off a boat, through customs, and on a train. If it takes that until 9/14 that is 9 full weeks to get from Portland to dealer. When I ordered my Explorer in '11 it only took 8 weeks from order to dealer. If Ford/Lincoln can resolve the logistics/shipping issues they would be selling twice as many Nautiluses. Naut2go
Yeah that seems long, I am in Canada, mine sat on the lot for a week before being loaded onto rail car. Once it started it came across country in 4 days. I was originally told July 9th to 15th. I actually picked it up on June 26th. So maybe you will get a surprise. Mine was built 5/11, didn't ship until 6/4, got to Portland sometime before July 12th and had yet to be loaded on a railcar the last time my salesperson checked.
