SAVVY
Hey Everyone! I’ve been wanting a Ford Edge ST since I test drove a new one in 2020, but didn’t get the new job so didn’t buy a car then. I’ve had a company car for 19 years so haven’t bought a new car myself in decades, but got a new role at work and lose my company car. I don’t have a trade nor do I have a lot of money saved for a down payment so I’m looking at ways to get as new as I can but cheapest. I have been looking primarily at 2019/2020 models that were in my price range. I have specific options I want so been obsessively searching for “the one”. I’ve found a 2021 off personal lease with 80K in highway miles (the dealer that sold it new is where it’s listed at and they have a long history with its previous owner). It has EVERY option I want and none I don’t, and is my favorite color - Performance Blue. The dealer has been the best to deal with so far out of the dozen I’ve reached to. Am I CRAZY to consider this vehicle in order to afford a 2021? There are a few new features that I really want like the auto dimming side view mirrors, larger screen with SYNC 4 and the USB-C port. Any advice on what to ask? Look for?? Or consider??? Thanks Edited March 17, 2024 by SAVVY Typo

HotRunrGuy
The one for $32K in PA? Just for peace of mind, I'd ask for more than the 90 day/4K warranty, maybe try to get 12 month/12K included? HRG
transitman
I just traded my 2016 for a 2020 Titanium 301A with 44k mi and I'm very happy. The additional safety equipment, lane keeping/centering, adaptive cruise are the upgrades I was looking for. Other than for nav, how often would a larger screen be important?
