2024 or wait for the 2025 F-250 SD Lariat

Recommended Posts

Upgrading my F-150 to have a better tow vehicle for my 25' Airstream and wondering if I should wait for the 2025 models since they should be out by the end of the year. From what I have discovered it appears there will be some cosmetic upgrades and tweaks to the interior of the 25's. Other school of thought is possibly year end deals or financing incentives for the remaining 2024's. My main issue with the 2024's that are available is most have add on's the I would otherwise not include if I were ordering a 2025. Thanks.

There hasn't been a deal on Super Duties since the pandemic, and there still is a shortage of many configurations.  I wouldn't wait based on wishing for deals, but simply if new features are coming that you really want.  I always order exactly what I want, and negotiate a deal (or use x-plan for Ford) up front.  Financing should get cheaper the longer you wait,  as interest rates will start being cut in September, by the Fed.

And if you can swing x-plan, make sure you get your dealer to agree to it in writing before you order. My dealer screwed me at signing time and I was an idiot for not getting x-plan agreed to in writing. All within their right to not honor it, but I'll never be back. "You can walk and we'll sell this for 10k over MSRP, so it won't hurt our feelings."
