rmc523
Kia unveils 2025 EV4 and EV2 - Autoblog We expect the EV4 to share much of its electric-only powertrain with the Hyundai IONIQ 6, meaning 53-kWh single motor and 77.4-kWh dual motor battery capacities with between 240 and 342 miles of range. The EV4 will get a sportier-looking GT-Line version and potentially even a high-performance GT version similar to the 576-horsepower EV6 GT. It’s still unknown if the EV4 would offer all-wheel drive. Similar to the IONIQ 6, DC fast charging would likely net 10-80% charge in about 20 minutes. Edited April 16 by rmc523

tbone
I like most of it, except the rear. It looks too elongated or something.

I think the angles of the photos and sheet metal make it look weird, prob looks better in person
Motorpsychology
I wish designers across all mfrs would do a better job of integrating the door-to-door screens into the dashboard. They have a design by committee look to them. As soon as the Door Card/Dashboard/Console Team is finished with their careful integration of the overall interior, the Digital Extravaganza Team comes in with their box that looks like something Harold Greene used on the Red Green Show. After owning our Nautilus for 3 years I actually prefer the floating tablet. It makes the dash behind it significantly lower and more streamlined for better visibility. It allows the screen to be positioned wherever is most beneficial for the driver and it makes it easier to have different sizes or configurations and easier to upgrade in the future.
T-dubz
The EV4 sedan is horrid and should have never been made for production, however the hatchback is much better looking and I could see it doing quite well. The EV2 is the best of the bunch though.
rmc523
Kia’s First Electric Sedan Is Here To Beat The Model 3 At Its Own Game | Carscoops This thing makes the hunchback of Notre Dame look like a supermodel. Kia might have already unveiled the 2026 EV4 compact electric model in hatchback and sedan guise last February in Spain, but that launch was about models available in European markets. At the New York International Auto Show, the Korean company revealed its North American-spec EV4, which will only be sold as a sedan locally, as the hatch won’t make the trip to the Land of the Free. The EV4 is Kia’s first global electric sedan and, in America, is meant to take on the Tesla Model 3 starting in Q1 2026.
blazerdude20
Good lord. We have an official contender for ugliest car of the decade. And that’s saying something. This has to have been done almost exclusively for aero. The transition from normal roofline to swooped back Prius/Model Y back end is awful.
