I recall some of the details came up during a discussion on vehicles still weighing under 2,000 pounds so they could be flat towed easily. The iQ wasn’t much longer than Smart but IIRC had a tiny rear seat. Just happen to see this morning that Toyota is still playing with tiny cars, this one a City low-speed electric Micro car. It’s too slow to be practical, but shows they are still considering or pursuing personal mobility.
