Texasota
The wheel lip moldings have a bit of Tasman vibe.

People who like Subaru Outbacks appreciate a vehicle that looks tougher and emphasizes elements that fit with an outdoorsy lifestyle. 2026 Outback does those things better than the many anonymous boring unibody blobs out there

Yea, if for no other reason than those two Ford anonymous boring unibody blobs are no longer in production. 😄 Jokin' aside, in 2025 from Janaury up to November, Subaru Outback sales in the U.S. came to 142,943 while Ford Escape + Edge sales came to 135,511. As much as I'd hate to admit it, If I had to replace my wife's Edge, that Outback may be the choice. HRG

HRG The 21-23 Nautilus is a great vehicle and probably cheaper than a new Edge.
92merc
I didn't think in the picture, the Outback looked too bad. Just saw one on the road. Uhhh, nope. Nope. Nope. Ugly. Seems like they tried to make it look a RAV4 Woodland or something. Lots of plastic and those sharp Toyota lines. No longer looks like a Subaru, and not in a good way.
