They retested their loop. I think it was at 2000 miles Ford recommended. But what ever that was, TFL got noticeably higher mileage. I'd say once you get some miles on it, expect even even better.

Bezos, via his family office, reportedly holds a passive stake and is not directly involved in the day-to-day business Great plans but I think we need to watch this for a while to see what progress they make. The reports I heard in the tech press said only that an investment fund where Bezos is the big investor has an investment in Slate. They said it’s just one of many investments, and they thought it unlikely that he even knew about the investment before it blew up in the news, let alone had any say in the operations of the company.

Was actively looking for something different and hybrid was high on my list, then I saw the Explorer Timberline in Forged Green metallic and was all, "ooooh, thats sharp" and bought it instead of continuing to look for a hybrid....20-23 ain't bad I guess but my sights were set higher on the MPG's so I drove it for a year and a half and traded for the Maverick. The funny thing is that my '22 Bronco has been getting the best around town MPG for my commute to work of all the vehicles I've owned in the past 20 years or so. I get about 20 MPG with the 2.7 V6. I was getting like 17 with the SHO (I'm sure the AWD didn't help) and my Mustang was around 18-19, but I drove much further with that to work vs what I've done for the past 10 years.

I'm getting between 15-17.5 (maybe a bit higher if I take a long road trip) with my Bronco, but that 2.7+sasquatch takes a toll on mileage lol. Mileage actually goes down or stays the same when I'm on a highway drive of 2 1/2 hours.
Joe771476
There's more to it. First these young kids are in no hurry to get their license. And when they do, they -- and their parents -- can't afford any new vehicle, especially after you factor in car insurance and property taxes where applicable. Then they can't drive to save their lives, even if they're not distracted by their phones!! They don't know how to use their mirrors. They can't park. I watched a young girl spend 5 minutes trying to pull into a parking space at a Walmart, only to give up and move on.

At least she's getting the experience. I think all the road rage these days is a big turn off for a lot of younger people when it comes to learning how to drive. IDK where you live, but in Utah, if people see you signaling to change lanes, they'll accelerate hard to pass you rather than letting you in, or they'll freak out of you aren't speeding in a blizzard. I've been honked and screamed at for not running a red light before. It feels like drivers are becoming increasingly nuts and that's intimidating a lot of younger would be drivers. Are you saying it’s the poster child for achieving low fuel efficiency? Large frontal area, poor aerodynamics, heavy, off-road tires, and an engine better known for its boost than eco? Who would have guessed? 😆 Just kidding. My primary vehicle is much worse, so not judging.

Not being able to drive is definitely not "young" exclusive lol.....I see plenty of people of all ages that are completely clueless.... also, it seems the smaller the car, the worse they drive/park.
