akirby
Just call it a Boss 302 or 315 depending on whether it’s using the 5.0 or 5.2 and be done with it.

Mustang Boss came with 302, 351, and 429 engine sizes over the years IIRC. Since Ford is rumored to be working on a new V8, maybe a 5.8L (351) or a 7.0L (429) may be in the works? May be a great way to introduce a new engine; either 5.8L Coyote-based or 7.0L Godzilla-based V8.

The Ford 428 and 429 are just over 7L but all three engines, 427, 428 and 429 round off to 7.0 liters. My thought is that Boss 429 sounds better, though any new Godzilla displacement at 7.0L would be really cool, especially with aluminum block and with direct injection.
