A quick look would show you the hood line seems pretty familiar, as well as the lit up part of the grill underneath the cover matching the orange highlight on the Tremor grill. Then again, just a wild guess since we're not getting much to speculate about from Ford lately.
blazerdude20
I assume it’s the Lobo trim.

akirby
Looks great but I think they’re missing an opportunity not offering the Dark Horse 5.0 or Raptor 3.5 as an upgrade or a supercharged Predator option from the factory. Although it is pretty easy to add the supercharger.
rmc523
The 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo Marks the Return of the Factory Street Truck - Autoblog The Legendary Street Truck Is Back. Meet the Ford F-150 Lobo I like that they're trying a "Street" truck again, however, I think they're setting it up to fail as basically an appearance package. As Akirby said, not having more performance out of the 5.0 is disappointing/ridiculous, IMO. Agree that they should offer the Dark Horse powertrain and/or HO3.5..........and could go crazy and have a Lobo R with the Raptor R's powertrain on top of that. 92merc
I'm wondering if this won't be Ford's only specialized truck coming out. Since they won't be rolling to a new platform as soon as planned, they'll be coming out with special editions. I mean, the Tremor is just an appearance package with special wheels. But Ford may be working on Hi-Po model. Either that or Ford just thinks the public will just get the factory supercharger added to an existing package. T-dubz
Man, what a swing and a miss. Grill looks like someone added aftermarket autozone lights. Would have looked better with a full light bar instead of several small ones with gaps in between. Also basing it off of the stx was a mistake. Of course it was done to keep costs down but at least put the center console shifter in there. Build and price shows this thing starts at over 60k. Removing the lobo package dropped the price down to 52k. Don’t think this is worth 8k over the regular stx. Also the lobo package shows it only costs 4695 so I’m not sure where the difference is coming from. The build and price doesn’t seem to be working properly right now. It doesn’t look bad, but without performance upgrades, this should not be almost the same price as a lariat. This should be an stx black appearance package. blazerdude20
Interesting that it comes with the 4-Auto 4WD system. I wonder if there is a Lobo-R version coming with a higher output.

The full width light bar thing is played out. It's not terrible by default, it can look good on some models. But I like seeing the unique look they went for here of having lights stretch out across the front, but with gaps in-between. Its not a one for one comparison, but the lights in the grille also vaguely remind me of the bronco r from back in the day. Motorpsychology
The photos show it as a SuperCrew, 22's are part of the Lobo package. Lobo is the non-fleet F150, premium collection in Mexico; What would Ford call the Lobo in that market?

I hear ya, I don’t like light bars either, but this looks like a half-assed attempt at a light bar to me. The STX was already supposed to be the cheaper stylish truck. And it had its own appearance packages to add even more style. If you aren’t adding performance, then what’s the point of this? If you read the comments on any ford forum or article related to this, they all say the same thing, they want more performance. keep the ground effects, the wheels and the hood. Get rid of the 4wd. Add a supercharger. Now you have a performance truck for under 70k which would probably sell better than this lobo at 60k.

It’s far harder to do a segmented bar so I don’t think half-assed is a good description just because you don’t like it. It’s different which is good for this type of vehicle. My guess is it will be marketed as the base to add your own supercharger which people like to do anyway, thus the 5.0 and AWD. Otherwise they could have used the HO 3.5 in RWD form. They probably figure more folks will do that than would pay for the factory predator. Personally I would have liked to see more power from the factory but then again I’m not buying one. Rick73
When did 400 HP become inadequate? 😀 Seriously though, I think offering standard V8 is the right call. It helps keep initial price down, gets buyers to spend more later on aftermarket upgrades, and better protects/isolates Ford from those who think that encouraging any type of street racing is irresponsible corporate behavior. I know many here disagree but I believe it turns off a small segment of population anyway. A standard V8 may also help with warranty costs. 1

Yeah, I find it annoying that everyone and their brother now does a lightbar as the default design choice these days. While I think they can look good, I prefer it to be on brands that have history doing it (Lincoln, or Porsche are good examples), vs. essentially all models now. This is a more unique look and ties in with the grille design they went with, though I do understand how it has the potential to look "unfinished"........I'll reserve judgement until seeing it in person. ZanatWork
it seems to me that a different level of tune could have been applied to the 5.0, something to make the Lobo a bit more special.

Mexico divides F150 into two categories,Fleet/Commercial which are similar to our fleet and Lobo, which includes similar trims to what we have here. bzcat
Lobo is a model name in Mexico, not a trim level. So they definitely will not sell something called Maverick Lobo... that's the same as selling something like Maverick F-150 in the US. Back to the Lobo package for the US... It looks like F-150 Lobo package is based on XL just like STX. So another variation of retail-friendly XL. Interesting approach to selling XL for more than XLT money by limiting drivetrain and body configuration choices to a single built. Would like to see how well this does... in theory, you can get a much faster/better equipped truck by order XLT with either 2.7 or 3.5 Ecoboost but I get the allure of this package is the 5.0 and the cosmetic upgrades. They have both the. 450 hp and 500 hp versions but those probably don’t take to being supercharged like the base version. Which is why I think they’re catering to the factory aftermarket supercharger crowd instead of just offering the factory predator.

The Whipple supercharger is a Dealer or ASE-certified aftermarket installed offering. Why do you keep calling it "factory" ? HRG
