rmc523
2026 Lincoln Navigator Revives Premiere Trim According to CarsDirect, the 2026 Lincoln Navigator lineup will indeed welcome back the Premiere trim, effectively lowering the point of entry for that model at the same time. In fact, the 2026 Lincoln Navigator Premiere will start out at $91,995, excluding destination charges of $2,595, which makes it a cool $8,000 cheaper than the Reserve. A Lincoln spokesperson confirmed this re-addition to the lineup, noting that the change was made “based on consumer interest and retailer feedback.” If nothing else, this change also better positions the 2026 Lincoln Navigator against its chief rival, the Escalade, which starts out at $93,695, including destination. There are a few things that the entry-level trim gives up, as one might imagine – it gets heated and ventilated soft-touch captain’s chairs instead of the premium leather units in the Reserve, a standard Revel Audio System instead of Revel Ultima 3D, and it gets a standard 40/20/40 split bench seat instead of second-row captain’s chairs. Otherwise, the 2026 Lincoln Navigator is getting more expensive, with the Reserve and Black Label increasing by $2,000 to $101,995 and $118,995, respectively, minus destination charges. Regardless, we’ve seen Ford delete base trims only to add them back on more than one occasion as of late
akirby
Do not like these stripped down trims that most buyers don’t want and are only useful for advertising or fleet sales.

I'd hardly consider it "stripped down"

If they reduced it $8k they must have removed a lot more.

Motorpsychology
Bench 2nd row is a no cost option on the 2025 Reserve, and I cast me a jaundiced eye that "Premium" leather and the Revel Ultima 3D sound system are worth 8 grand more. But in the market they compete in, anybody who is somebody wouldn't show up in anything less than a Black Label anyway. If you are suing/being sued, are you hiring the $700/hr attorney or the $1,100/hr one?
Dlcorbett
Let's not all cast judgements until the order guide drops lol. However, if they drop the massage seats in the front, its better to just get an expy at that point.

Neither, I drive a Super Duty, so I'm defending myself! 😄 1
tbone
“based on consumer interest and retailer feedback.” I interpret this as it’s too damn expensive and we need something cheaper to sell. There is something to be said about the styling differences between a Navigator and an Expedition, so I don’t necessarily agree that it means just buy a loaded Expedition. I personally prefer the Navigator styling over the Expedition, and would consider giving something up for better styling. With the Escalade starting out at $93,695, you need something to compete there. I have seen plenty of base Escalades on the road so someone is buying them. Maybe they need to understand their customers better. The Navigator styling is way better but in terms of power and tech, there is no difference sadly. Also considering the Escalade starts at 93k and has way more tech, they need something less expensive to compete (although IMO the should have given the Navi more tech/features)
Dlcorbett
Also, I think they wanna get back in the rental/fleet sales. So many base escalades and grand wagoneer at hertz and enterprise, I'm sure lincoln wants some of that pie. I do think its a good idea to add it, but it was better implemented during the my22 rollout where the navigator already had a lot of standrd features on the premiere that the others didnt, and the reserve just made it so the luxury features were bundled or optional. Andrew L
It's funny when they launched this new Navi they said they dropped the Premiere because no one bought it now they are saying they are adding it back due to customer demand... so which is it? lol

Big 10-4. Repair costs are driving insurance premiums ever higher. Composite light fixtures, radar, sonar, etc. The premium on our 2025 Explorer runs close to $1,900 a year w/$500 deductible, multi car and home ins. and both of us have perfect driving records. I'm way beyond the target age group for marketing, but are Milennials really driving the demand for Blue Cruise et al? I turn most of that stuff off, as I find it gets in the way of actually driving. I don't need a $1,000 mirror winking at me telling le it's not safe to pass; I can turn my head around and look.

The 2025 base price for the SWB version was more than the base price of the 2024 LWB model Reserve. The new Premiere trim will be starting at $91,995, so it'll be close to the pricing of the 2024 Reserve, which will be appealing to buyers.

But everytime I'm on the road and see other people driving, I know why my insurance is so much...sigh... 1
joseodiaga4
I wonder if the 2026 Reserve is going to have the full-widht headlight as the BL (similar to the Nauti that only Premier comes without it)
