Transit Custom is bigger and they were everywhere in the UK when I went.

Also keep in mind isn't the Ranger sold there also?

Sure, but other similarly sized (or larger) products are also sold there. Point being - not as if I was saying to offer the SuperDuty SuperCrew with 8' bed over there lol. yes, Ranger is there, which is why I said earlier that maybe they don't want Maverick to eat into Ranger (Europe's F-150) sales, similar to the argument of Ranger eating into F-150 sales years ago. I suggested it because it seems like it'd be a great fit for Europe with better fuel economy and smaller size.

Exactly the same reasons why I think Transit Custom would do extremely well in US — fuel economy and smaller size. 😀 The 2.5L gas hybrid may do 30 MPG, much better than full-size Transit, and smaller size makes it garageable. bzcat
Maverick is not that wide so it's fine for European roads. The length is more of a problem... it's longer than 5 meters which is generally the acceptable limit for practical everyday cars. Vehicles longer than 5 meters like Mercedes S-class and the like sometimes don't fit in tight underground parking garages - e.g. the standard wheelbase Transit Custom is 4972mm for a reason. Ranger is also longer than 5 meters but pickup trucks is really not that common as a daily use vehicles in urban areas.

rmc523
Did GM have lower production of Tahoe in Q2? GM Defectors Fuel 2025 Ford Expedition Sales Resurgence In fact, the 2025 Ford Expedition actually managed to outsell its chief rival, the Chevy Tahoe, in Q2 2025 – something that hasn’t happened in over five years. On top of that, Ford says that “many new owners came to us from GM vehicles,” which is rather notable. The 2025 Ford Expedition accounted for 40 percent of the entire large traditional SUV segment’s growth in the second quarter, winding up with a market share of 24.1 percent – up from 19 percent the year prior.
