I guess because it isn't a two box-C/SUV shape LOL It doesn't look bad but I wouldn't call it stunning-it looks like its ripped off the styling from recent Hyundai/Kia sedans

Rick73
The front end especially on red car looks bad to me. Rest not horrible. A CVT is deal breaker regardless of claimed improvements.
Dequindre
CVT aside, I actually like the looks of this. The current Nissan Sentra isn't a bad looking car either, inside or out. The one thing that bothers me about Nissans (and that i have noticed about them from having work rentals) is how absolutely thin the exterior sheet metal is. Most of them sound like tin cans when closing the door. I can only imagine what other cost cutting they partake in.

Yeah, there is a lot to like, particularly given an assumed starting price below $25k based on previous generation. It’s unfortunate they did not make it a hatchback, or that rear seats don’t fold flat for improved utility, but at least the rear seat looks roomy and truck appears spacious for normal daily use. The car’s size is similar to a Civic or Tesla Model 3, so not really too small at all. I really like that rear doors do not extend into rear wheel wells which is a pet peeve of mine. This too is like Civic and Model 3. Appearance looks as good or better than Civic to me, though Civic is rated a better car overall; and is available as a hatchback. However, Sentra will probably sell at much lower price than Civic or Corolla which should help.

Nissan is phasing out the Altima, so there has to be another vehicle that will star in those car-crash videos on Youtube.
