We’re talking about Ford drivers, not BMW drivers

You should clarify this to mean BMW car (bimmer) drivers, not BMW motorcycle (beemer) riders.  I fall into the later and beemer riders are big on safety.

Not a single person other than you thought of a motorcycle when reading that 😒

Whether it is a BMW "driver" (aka bimmer) or a BMW "rider" (aka beemer) both have a self absorbed sense of entitlement that just oozes " <censored> on the inside." - Present company excluded of course.

Just because rules that apply to others do not apply to us doesn't mean we have a self absorbed sense of entitlement.   :)

Note that I corrected my misapplied "weather" with the proper "whether"....noticed the error after you quoted me....ugh.

That is where I say you are completely wrong.  I am a member of the BMW MOA and have gone to some of the local and national rallies.  They are a stark contrast to what everyone envisions or sees at the cruiser rallies like Sturgis.   Sturgis has the "wild" riders, the BMW riders in contrast are more like the geeks.  They are the ATGATT riders that wear airbag vests and take training classes and many ride their bikes across country rather than trailering them.

Unlike Sturgis BMW MOA gatherings have dry T-shirt contests...

Not gonna lie, I read that as "BMW HOA". Blame my background in real estate work before the car biz. 😄

On topic, I realized a couple weeks ago that the F-150 tailgate C-clamp pockets that used to be standard on every F-150 no longer are. I think they're part of the bed utility package now, but they're not mentioned in the order guides at all. Not a recent development, but I forget when that very quiet change happened.

  • 3 weeks later...

This latest Job2 (Job2.5?) update brought back a bunch of Free Standing Option items. Tow package, keyless pad, spare tire, a few others too. Nice to see not just options coming back, but as FSO rather than "you have to get this package for $3460 to get the $190 item you actually want". If the lineup is going to be pared down, make it "build it how you want it" and ditch the old catalog style system that should have died with the Fusion.

Not that I think the Fusion should have been killed off, just the timing of it. Bringing catalog ordering to the Fusion was awful to deal with. It's somewhat persisted to current vehicles, mostly as package things.
