Funny Ford related item....

So a few weeks ago I got my Bronco serviced and my wife was telling me that you can get a $20 rebate from Ford after having it done. I went to fill out the info online and it got rejected by Ford, who asked for a receipt of the service. So I winded up taking the receipt into work, scanning it with my phone into a PDF and forwarded it over to them via email

 

I get an email back from them-I accidently sent them my resume instead of the receipt! I wasn't paying attention the small thumbnail that Adobe scan (nor did I put a descriptive name to it) so I sent the wrong file at first. I got the the rebate about a week and half ago after getting the right file to them.

 

So I'm checking my email just now and see I got an email from Ford-asking me to update my resume! WTF! I never applied for a job with them LOL  I'm wondering if my resume got processed somehow and that is how I got this email

My dealer applies for the $20 Works credit before I leave. Easy peasy.

 

However, I think the current promotion expired at the end of Sept.

Make sure you put in for the employee discount too....lol

Hey Sherminator98, if you are dead set against workin' at Ford or a supplier but want an X-Plan PIN I might be able to generate one for you (Ford/Visteon gave me hourly "retiree" Z Plan benefit when I took a buyout). 😄
