Pricing is a lot.

Yet another example of Stellantis big shots doing what they do best with the company's products: overprice and underdeliver.

Among many, many problems facing Stellantis is one simple, unfortunate truth: Too many of the automaker's cars simply cost too much.

How much "Off Road use only" is the Recon actually going to see? But then again how much this really enforced too? I've seen photos of cars that have zero reason to have the doors removed, removed LOL

I mean....I can't say much here, as I have my doors and roof off right now lol.

Yup, I think I read that it's coming out as a top trim only at first, which is doomed to fail.  I mean they just cancelled a top trim of the EV charger....why would the Jeep do any better?

Is this supposed to be released in China? After seeing what the Bronco New Energy or whatever it is called is getting sold at, this would be completely DOA over their with a price point almost double of what the Bronco EV is.

Not sure.

Yea, it's not certain if or when this Jeep will be offered in China. However, the big shots at Stellantis claimed earlier this year it will be a "global release".

The Jeep Recon is set for a global rollout soon after its North American debut, with key markets including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia

This just made me realize.......the Recon is just the "New Energy" Bronco with a Jeep badge and removable doors/windows.

Ford begins pre-sales of electric Bronco in China, starting at $32,320 - CnEVPost

Jeep’s $65,000 Recon Is Surprisingly Fast, But Can It Outrun The EV Slowdown?

You beat me to this since I have been very busy lately and haven’t had time to post. The Recon price is ridiculous when you consider the US dollar price of the EV Bronco from China.  I’m actually surprised Ford hasn’t considered selling the electric bronco in the US considering that price point seems pretty reasonable and it looks good.

I don't think the typical buyer of a Bronco is really interested in an EV. It is actually around the size of an Explorer vs a Bronco 4 door also. Also I don't think would be able to hit that price point in NA with it either.

If they had something to slot in-between the Bronco and Bronco Sport that would be more or less an Edge replacement, that would make more sense IMO

Oh goodie, another Jeep that the owner is going to take the doors off to drive down to Walmart in to look cool...

Like I said above, I have all the parts off on my Bronco right now lol.  I enjoy having it all open.  If I happen to look cool while doing it, so be it 😛

The Bronco EV wouldn't be $33k if it was sold in the U.S. Price conversion doesn't work like that. It would however be $33k of your American dollars if you bought it in China, and kept it there...

Agree with everyone with the Jeep Recon being DOA.
