Too many threads discussing the same topics.  lol

Sorry I got confused with the topic merging.

I'm saying develop a new unibody pickup platform that combines c2 and ce1 for lower cost, then produce a new Maverick along with a single cab for a lower more affordable price point.

I wonder if they'll use the T3 style or at least its inspiration for the next Gen F-150 which should launch before 2029?

Possibly!  I feel like it's time for them to push the envelope a bit further design wise.  I feel like the last 2 gens have just been the play it safe type designs with some nips and tucks here and there.

Ford revealed that it will launch five new "affordable" vehicles by 2030, with four of them slated for U.S. production, as well as a new, affordable commercial van with gas and hybrid options that will be built at the Ohio Assembly Plant starting in 2029.

So lets parse this down:

4 vehicles plus Van by 2030:

Commercial Van Maverick Based Van in OHAP-was supposed to get EV based Van

CE1 based truck https://www.fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/articles/2025/ford-affordable-electric-vehicle-platform-midsize-electric-truck

So that leaves us with 3 other products:

New ICE/Hybrid "Truck" for the old BOC now TTP

Gaps in Ford's lineup:

Escape dead in a few months

No Midsized CUV Edge type replacement

Other rumored CE1 products:
Performance Sedan

CUV-could be Escape/Edge or merging of the two replacement

Rumored ICE vehicles:
PHEV CUV "sister product" to Bronco Sport-supposed to appear 2029

PHEV Bronco vehicle for EU-might be Bronco Sport replacement?

Mustang Sedan (LOL)

Bronco Pickup to replace Ranger

Oh, so just let Ranger go, and expand Maverick body styles.
