Next Gen 2027 Chevy Silverado Revealed in Patent Images

I think the cab is carryover, which we've noticed in spy shots.

I know it's just a drawing (those renderings aren't accurate, but at least give a better visual idea), but it seems more like a heavy refresh than new.

To be fair, Ford has done the same approach for the last 20 years too of using the same cab for 2 generations before a cab redesign....

2004 was all new
2009 was "all new" but re-used the same 2004 cab (though it was extended by 6")
2015 was the all new aluminum model
2018 was a refresh
2021 was "all new" but re-used the 2015 cab
2024 was a refresh
2028 will be all new, but I'm thinking it will actually be a new cab this go around

I see Chevy is taking the same route that ford did with its last refresh of the f150. Enough of this “evolution” crap. We want “revolution”!

Tesla tried revolution with the Cybertuck and where did it get them?

You guys are a bunch of party poopers 😂. We aren’t GM executives here trying to earn a buck for our stockholders. We are automotive fans who want to see cool designs.

Finally a GM half ton that looks good!

What will be interesting is will their new 5.7 and 6.6 liter V8’s, be competitive with Ford’s

5.0 V8 and the next generation 3.5 Ecoboost?

Maybe, ford will need aluminum block 5.8/6.8 versions of the Godzilla?

Curious if there will be a V6 variant of 7.3L Godzilla...a 5.5 liter V6 for an extended range EV Superduty? Hmmmm....
