That looks pretty good.

Guess they felt it wasn't worth offering?

It would've required  different suspension & frame for a 136 in ± wheelbase, for a low volume build. I'm guessing the Supercab went away because of side impact requirements and low orders by dealers. My dealer had none when I ordered mine in 2021; but a dozen or more Super Crews on the ground. Toyota still makes one but now with no rear doors. 🙃

That looks 100 times better and is 10 times more useful.

Agree. That extra 12" would be nice and it would still fit in my garage way better than an F-150. JP, can you go ahead and build some of those for us? And don't forget, I need hybrid too.

No. I know the reason but I don’t feel like I can share it without getting in trouble.

Don’t, just go with Ford worked out that the crewing they have today  vs production is very profitable.

Sure they could build more but from what I know the front axles are shared with F150 and if they make more, it takes away from supply to F150.

This is the reason the Tacoma no longer comes with access doors on the smaller cab. They couldn't meet safety standards without significant material and weight increases... I would highly expect the next gen F-150 to lose that style door as well.

At least on the F150 you can order the longer bed on the crew cab. Just won't fit in the garage.

I wonder if Ford will get rid of the suicide doors and use the rather small rear doors like GM does. Either way is terrible for second row occupants, if you have any.

I was just thinking this as well.  It also means they'll have one "Front" of the cab structure (front door to b-pillar) for all trucks (well, single cabs I guess would be slightly different)......I wonder if they'd slightly increase the size of the SuperCab rear seat area to accommodate this change?  My brother has one, and it would be extremely tight to try to get in there if it were a regular swing door.

F100  crew cab with a 6' bed might end up being the same length as a supercab F150.  Then you don't need a supercab F150.

That's an interesting point. Seems like with F-100 joining F-Series, Ford will be making adjustments to prevent duplication and overlap. This is going to be fun to watch. The changes in the next gen F-150 may hold interesting clues.
