AshleyR Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 I have a 2019 Lincoln Navigator that now has had 3 transmission. The first is when I bought the car, the 2nd one was at 108,000, and the newest was just put in 2 weeks ago at 167,000.00. Prior to the 3rd transmission, I have had a humming roaring noise. I changed the wheel bearing but it continued and was actually worse. I had a Powertrain light come on twice and was told it was the transmission and that was likely the source of the noise I was hearing. After getting my car back yesterday, the noise is still there. I was told from the dealer that my rear diff needs to now be replaced. Could the transmission cause the rear differential issues? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
