Tom C
Just took delivery of 2026 Aviator. We purchases this for more interior room for our grandchildren. Third row seat is very disappointing. My 5 year old struggled to get back to the third row . The biggest problem the second floor seats don’t fully flip up . Can’t believe Ford/Lincoln engineers couldn’t figure out a better design . Just search the internet & found this is an on going issue that Ford/ Lincoln know exists. I should have researched this better . I am going to see if I can have rear console removed & carpet replaced .
twintornados
Welcome to the forum and its a shame that your first posting is a complaint - I had a 2023 Explorer Timberline with second row captain chairs and no center console, access to the third row was pretty easy through there but it is tight back there. You are correct on a couple of points, yes, you should have researched it better if access to the third row is that important to you and I am sure that the second row center console can be removed if needed for better access. Good luck and again, welcome aboard.
