Also Lincoln is getting a version of the skunkworks CE1 EV, but it's not arriving til 2030?   man, Ford is in no hurry......

IMO I think they are just slow rolling it to see how the market takes to it first. I don't see a rush unless the Corsair is going away or people start showing a demand for EVs in their purchasing habits.

I guess that's fair.  As long as they bring Corsair over, this move isn't as big a deal.  I'm just concerned about the gap at the bottom of the lineup.

If  they are going to bring over Corsair along with Nautilus, maybe they could find some room on the shipping carrier to include Zephyr....should sell in sufficient numbers to justify bringing it over.

That would make too much sense, so they won't do it 😛

I've advocated them doing this for years.  Keep it limited to middle and top trims to make it worth it/to recover shipping costs.  Dealers would appreciate having the additional product in what was their best-selling segment for a long time.

Would be nice.

Speaking about the Zephyr, the debut was before the Nautilus and Corsair in China, we havent seen any refresh….I doubt it but would be nice to see both Corsair and Z refreshed

Hopefully the dealer network is still pushing for this. The Zephyr is a nice looking vehicle that could bring back some sedan buyers.

I think at this point, the answer to this would also depend on whether Lincoln is getting a version of the 4-door Mustang or not.

If they are, there's no reason to bring Zephyr over.  If they aren't, then I do think they should bring Zephyr over to give them a sedan offering.

The only reason for Zephyr over some proposed "maybe" 4 door Mustang-esque variant is that Zephyr is already there and ready to go....the other is not. Even if it got green lighted tomorrow - you would not see it for 18-24 months....and that is being optimistic.

Well, we don't know that it hasn't been green-lit already alongside the Mustang.

Zephyr would also have to be brought to US standards and tested.  Sure, it's a shorter timeline than all new, but we don't know the timelines well enough to know what's realistic.

Since Zephyr is also C2 based in China along with Corsair and Nautilus, I am sure that "bringing it to US Standards and tested" is either already done, or should be able to breeze through it with relative ease....just looking at it from a timeline perspective
