Would be nice if they bumped up the power a bit; curious if/how they’ll update the interior; seems harder to do with the 48” screen. Would also like to see new wheel designs.

Nice to see that they're actually moving forward with a refresh on a reasonable timeline instead of allowing it to languish.

I wish they updated the aviator more. I sat in one the other day (refresh) and while I still think it’s nice, it’s showing its age.

Agreed - while still a great looking SUV, it needed the updated rear panel to bring it in line with the rest of the lineup.  I'd assume there was too much required to rework the dash for the full width screen.

its me or the grille has changed, not the inside but the form of it, check how the hood ends on top of the grille vs the current model, or maybe it is just the camo

Well, usually the grille shape changes with a redesign lol.

Yes, it does appear different.  The "platform" bump on the bottom of the grille also looks wider.

Lincoln refers to that "platform" as a "plinth" for the Lincoln logo...

plinth /plĭnth/

noun

  1. A block or slab on which a pedestal, column, or statue is placed.
  2. The base block at the intersection of the baseboard and the vertical trim around an opening.
  3. A continuous course of stones supporting a wall.

But this is a Refresh, and take into account that right now all the lineup has the same design, it seems the plan is change the inside and outside of it

I'm not sure I'm understanding the problem.....

1) It's clearly not a drastically different look, and will still fall within the family look.

2) we should be happy they're keeping product fresh unlike what they've done in the past of leaving products to rot on the vine (I think this has to do with us being produced in China, which has received more consistent and thorough refreshes/redesigns

No, not a problem, I guess just surprises but it is for the reason you said, it is a product made for China so it normal a bigger refresh 😅

Hope they put more physical switches back. The loaner I had for my 30k service I couldn’t find a quick way to change temp or change the FM station.

This “put everything on touch screen” has got to stop. Soon they’ll put the “Open the door” three layers down on the touch screen.

Also the panoramic screen under the windshield is a nice novelty, but when it breaks a few years down the road, bet the replacement will not be found.

I can't speak to the radio station, but isn't the temperature permanently locked on the bottom of the center screen?  Just push the up (red) or down (blue) button....

Not sure about the new grill pattern yet.  Would need to see the rest.  It's definitely giving me some mid century modern match stick pattern vibes.

I wonder if that means it's losing the front light bar or if there will be an optional grill with it.

The rear tail lights and the bar are not lined up I wonder if the light bar is moving down below the part that sticks out.  Currently the part that sticks out lights up.

I hope it keeps the front light bar, at least in the BL model.

Also I would like to see some features that are on the Chinese model and not in the US model

Hard to tell with the front lightbar.  Regarding the grille, the "matchsticks" are just camo.

In my 2023, I can move my hand down to the console, feel for the toggle switch and either press forward to increase or back to decrease the temp. All without searching on the screen, or looking away on the road for more than one should. Unless I couldn’t think of the correct command, voice command will set both sides the same and with my wife set differently, we don’t want them set the same temp.

Ah, so there IS a quick way to easily change the temperature (permanently docked temp on the bottom corners of the screen), you just don't like the setup vs. the physical button.

Out of curiosity, have you tried "change DRIVER temperature to X degrees", same with passenger?  Not sure if it'd work, and may have been one of the first things you've tried.....     I honestly find voice commands more annoying than they're worth - I'm sure systems are better now, but I remember in my Flex, you had to go through 3-4 voice menus to get what you want, which could be done with a button click or two.   As a result, I haven't really even tried using it in my Bronco.
