DeluxeStang
https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/ford-mustang-designer-kemal-curic-named-mclaren-design-boss He's taking a job at Mclaren. The fact that he left his role at global director of Ford performance design so quickly concerns me. He was such a talented designer as well, I don't know if any of Fords other current design talent even comes close.

fordmantpw
Who wouldn't leave Ford to work for McLaren if the option was available? As much as I love Ford, having the option to lead design for McLaren would be a cut above.

Idk, in past interviews, he seemed really loyal to ford, and being in charge of most of Fords passion products like mustang, supercars, and probably the bronco, sounds like a dream job. The guy gets to head up design for a company of nothing but supercars, which I feel is most designers' dream job?

Curic is almost certainly gettin' a big raise after leaving Ford!

Philosophers, visionaries, heros dream of designing your next shitbox that will prematurely rust on its hundredth unseasonal visit to the Jersey Shore

McLaren head hunted him, they know his work and what he can produce. When you are owned by rich Arabians, the paycheck is not an issue.
