It's a Lincoln, over the top is supposed to be the point. Somewhere along the line Ford settled on 'good enough' for Lincoln and not over the top... and that's why no one takes it seriously as a luxury brand. Hell, my 64 continental has POWER VENT WINDOWS, power antenna, power seat, etc

When I was growing up my dad had an 88 Town Car signature and it had power vent windows too probably one of the last cars to offer that.  It also had automatic high beams which was a feature that seemed to have disappeared for a while but came back.

I think it is.

 

I feel like it was eliminated because of quality issues (without Ford admitting it), as a way to simplify/eliminate a combo to get quality issues under control across product lines with an eye on a return down the road as they get things ironed out.

 

But that's my conspiracy theory lol.

I just don't think it sold very well.
