It has a very similar slope to the windshield. The hood appears to be similar length but maybe a tad more sloped than what the truck will be. Pretty plain sides like Borg said it had. I had tried that back when we were discussing the aero (picture) and while there are of course similarities because they’re both aero-focused designs, the skunk truck appears a lot more muscular. It's possible, but whatever this is looks way too low to be a crossover imo. Those woman are pretty short, and it's noticable than them. Not much to go on, but here's a very small portion of it peaking through this gap. That could be an escape replacement and it's just an optical illusion that makes it seem lower than it is based on how far away it is, but that doesn't appear to be the case. That being said, here's another patent image showing some of the design features we're getting. And we've said this truck looks "too low" to be a truck......they're going to call them whatever they want. They can make a low "Escape" for aero. Ford is trying to keep costs low on this thing, why would they not copy/paste as much as they can to have two models (front end, dash, etc)? They've done it before with the original Expedition and F-150.... You're using your BORG vision with that analysis lol. It would be cool if they made it like a more swept back version of the 2nd gen Escape, which should be possible. edit: IDK if anyone else here lives in New York City or New Jersey, but the SUV could actually end up resembling the Fisker Ocean at least in body shape. I’m all for sharing hard points and interior elements, but the front/rear should look distinct, especially since the aero look might be a hard sell. With that said, supposedly there are a lot of ex Tesla workers in the skunkworks and all the teslas look the same, so I’m guessing all of these vehicles will too. We've heard the interior would be pretty nice/advanced for the price point. This also has some features Borg mentioned like a large center mounted screen. I wonder if the handle looking thing circled in green is to slide the center console forward and backward (with that bump thing in the front being the forward position latch maybe?)
