rmc523
Here are numbers for June: And the quarterly comparison for Q2: To note, I don't have Tesla and Rivian breakouts yet, so they have placeholder "matching" numbers vs last year right now.....I usually don't get these numbers until a week or two after the rest, so I wanted to post these now.

Zestyg
Yeah it essentially looks like if it wasn’t for the aluminum fire they’d be up right now, successfully absorbing the Escape sales. also GM trucks being down is interesting. Looks like Ram is the main beneficiary. Edited July 2 by Zestyg
fordmantpw
900,000 active Ford Pro subscriptions. That's more important to Ford's bottom line than many people realize. Edited July 2 by fordmantpw
joseodiaga4
Good numbers for Ford; Maverick and Explorer are doing great. On the other hand, Lincoln is not doing well. Navigator is down in its first year based entirely on the new model, and Nautilus is not catching the Corsair customers….I don't understand why they are taking too much time to bring the Chinese model
T-dubz
Im guessing the quarter is down because of employee pricing. Last year it ran for 3 months(4/3-7/6) and this year it’s only running for 2 months(5/1-7/6). The quarter would have looked better if it had an extra month of employee pricing

Especially when you consider subscriptions generate revenue every month whereas a vehicle sale is once every 3-6 years at best,

I just think the Navigator is too expensive. They came out with a cheaper variation, but it doesn’t seem to be moving the needle.

I just think the Navigator is too expensive. They came out with a cheaper variation, but it doesn’t seem to be moving the needle. Reviews of the new Navigator have not been kind. The common theme I am seeing that people don't like about the new Navigator is the steering wheel, the fact that you have to use the screen to adjust air vents, and the lack of physical controls, and the harsh ride (even with the smaller wheels I have seen reviews stating the ride is harsh compared to the competition). Now I know they designed the wheel that way so you can see the screen but overall comments have been pretty negative. I am afraid these things are affecting sales. Feature wise I think the Navigator is doing really well with the competition minus the air suspension setup (I know beating a dead horse around here). I wonder if Ford is going to stay the course with the lack of physical buttons and knobs or do a pull back like they did with Lincoln touch sliders around 2013-2016 era.
