Can someone explain the DORA sheets and priority codes dealers use and we live by.   thanks rob

priority 1-9 is set by Ford for special circumstances.  Dealers set their order priority 10-19 for retail (customer orders) and 20-99 for dealer stock.  Assuming no commodity holds when the dealer gets allocation the factory schedules the lowest numerical priority.  It's up to the dealer to ensure customer orders are prioritized correctly.

Ford changed the Dealer priority code range now to 3-19.  I was a 3 and was already put in the 2nd week of 2027 builds at KTP.

More important is whether you fit into your dealers monthly allotment which typically should be "yes" with a priority 3.

For those with recent orders, I wouldn't be surprised if you get the Ford "scheduled" email tomorrow.  Ford is moving quickly now scheduling weeks 24AUG to 7SEPT.  Good luck !!

I sure hope so! I placed my order 08 July 08 and have a priority code 03.

As I understand, Ford can produce ~1,000 Super Duty trucks daily at KTP.  The last 6 numbers of the VIN# is the Production Sequence #.

Mine is C12008 for build week2 / 17AUG.  I wonder if I'm actually Super Duty total count at 12,008 being planned for week 2 of the 2027 builds?

What Production Sequence #'s are others getting and does it corelate directly to an assembly line build order?

As KTP is not just for our Super Duty line, still I'd think the sequence #, once established in the system, would only increase moving forward.

Generally speaking yes but the actual build sequence depends on commodity availability.

  • 2 weeks later...

Ordered a '27 F450 Platinum Plus on 7/15. I doubt i'll see it this year but maybe. Dealer said it's priority code 4, which I know nothing about really other than what the internet says. Since ordering it on the 5th, i've received a confirmation once a week. Same email every time. Is that normal?

Any one getting the Digital Rear View Mirror?  New on 2027's but around on other vehicles.  My truck is close to clean schedule so I have to decide soon.  Rob
