Ovaltine
Well..... at the risk of trotting out this well-worn topic again, I have another observation I wanted to make about the CD3 (Fusion) trio, and this appeared to be the best place to put it. Can anyone speak to the fact as to why the Fusion-trio *don't* have adjustable rear head rests, when the Five Hundred/Montego do, as well as just about EVERY lower-end import car in this country? Obviously cost savings comes to mind, but could it also be related to the high rear decklid and rear window, and the fact the rear seat backs then are high enough with the little integrated sewn-in pillows? If that's not it, then I wonder when Ford's going to find religion and start making adjustable rear head rests standard in the CD3 line, as well as ALL its product line? -Ovaltine Edited October 19, 2006 by Ovaltine
Roadrunner
Not sure. I need to go sit in the back and see where it hits the back of my head.

Lower end models now receive fixed head restraints. Also please keep in mind that an adjustable head rest does not gurantee better than average head/neck protection in the event of a crash, especially when they are designed in such a way that passengers can sit without moving them into a proper position. See Volvo for correctly executed headrests.
