Sherminator98
Guess its the Lincolnized Bronco Basecamp... doesn't look all that different outside of a new front fascia and different taillights but then again maybe the camo is making harder to see the details also

It'll be nice to see us finally get some product down the road.

It is true, I also have read that but maybe we are lost in translation because the Bronco is from Ford-JMC JV and these new models are supossed to be Ford-Changan JV. All the Lincolns in China are from the Changan JV
bzcat
CX810 is the replacement for Chinese CD6 Explorer but the two will probably live side by side for a while before Ford decides whether to pull the plug on the (badly aging) CD6 Explorer in China. The Lincoln version is obviously the replacement for CD6 Aviator. CX810 is Chang'an Ford product, not Jiangling Ford which has Bronco Basecamp. Two different models. Brand: Chang'an Ford / Jiangling Ford Compact: Escape / Equator Sport (Territory) Midsize: Edge L / Equator Large: Explorer / Bronco Basecamp Edited September 24 by bzcat

JTL2017
I wonder what the interior is like. It will probably have a large central screen you find in that market but will it carry the panoramic display?

Most Chinese models (even Fords) have had large full width screens for years before US models had it. So I'd assume that's likely.

joseodiaga4
me too, so far I like it, wonder if it is a hybrid, EREV, EV or what. This is supposed to be based on the Avatar T09
joseodiaga4
https://x.com/DriveGreen80167/status/2105201277500334163/video/1 It seems it won't have the same screen design as the Nautilus/Navigator

It doesn’t seem like it does which is very odd. Of course I expected the super large central screen but no Nautilus screen is a bit strange. DeluxeStang
If/when we get a Lincoln bronco, I think this does a pretty good job at previewing what it would look like.

I'd agree to an extent....obviously this is an EV, so it wouldn't directly carryover. But we could get some styling cues. I still think it'd be neat to do the Nautilus style full width screen on it, and have the offroad mode show a camera angle across the whole entire screen width to in effect create an "invisible" hood.

I get ya. I just mean a lot of the Lincoln bronco renderings are super low effort, take a Lincoln grille and slap it on a bronco, and it's not gonna be that I'm fairly certain. It's have a longer hood, boxier shape and profile, but more elegant surfacing and styling is my guess.
