Technically it’s a different engine than the old one that had known issues. I haven’t heard of many issues with the new 3cyl version.

Does the 1.5 still have all those issues? Or have they been resolved over time? I'm looking at a bronco sport in the near future for a family member.

I’m cautiously optimistic things will go ahead as planned. Stamping plant construction starts soon. Ford had to have forecasted the possibility of Trump winning again, I would like to think many scenarios were discussed. 

The problem with model e ain't that it's operating in the red, that's to be expected. The head honcho correctly compared model e to a startup.   The problem is the same 'ol, same 'ol at Ford: the big shots blame anything and everything but themselves when they screw up. Explorer EV and Capri not selling well is a Ford management issue, not a “rapidly deteriorating market conditions for electric vehicles” issue (which is false anyway as bzcat pointed out earlier).   Is it design? DeluxeStang makes a good case that may be problematic for Explorer EV and Capri Is it new product intro/update cadence being too slow? Competitors are giving Ford model e a run for its money with new and redesigned products

I think you seriously overestimate the American consumer. 

Tell the dealership to follow the Troubleshooting Service Bulletin 24-2288. My dad's 2023 escape hybrid kept going into sleep mode "12V battery is in power saving mode". You only notice this issue if you use the Ford Pass App. So all those people that do not use the App will never know their car has an issue. I told dealership that 2023 models were having issues were modules to not turn  off and drain the 12V battery when the car is off. Well, they decided just to change the battery but the problem continued. So I did another service appointment for him the next day and did research and found that bulletin. I pretty much did the research for this dealership haha.  Well they followed it and so far so good! They even told my dad, "we did what your daughter told us to do".
