Hennessey Turns Ford Expedition Tremor Into All-New Velociraptor SUV Since Ford hasn't make a Expedition Raptor yet....

They'll come up with a test that says occupants in the cargo area may be injured by flying parts when the vehicle rolls over and require some fancy airbag system in the cargo area. Maybe they should hire me to come up with ridiculous tests.......

Good marks for now but you know in 2 years they'll up the standards and give it 2 stars. As for seatbelt reminders I'm sure most would disable it anyway, especially delivery drivers.

The R2 is getting good reviews. I think they look like a good product. Rivian R2 Review: Better Than Tesla?

IIHS Rates Ford Transit Vans In New Commercial Evaluation Pivot | Ford Authority IIHS evaluated a 2025 Ford Transit in this new round of safety testing, and the van performed quite well - earning strong marks for its standard driver seat belt pre-tensioners, standard driver seat belt force limiter, standard driver front airbag, and standard driver side airbag. However, IIHS noted that the Transit lacks an effective driver seat belt reminder - a problem shared with the Mercedes Sprinter 2500, Rivian Delivery 500, and the Chevrolet Express 2500. To be considered effective, a vehicle's seat belt reminder must include a visual warning light or indicator and a persistent audible tone that is loud enough to be heard easily over the background noise inside the cabin. Both alerts must begin within 30 seconds when the driver’s belt is unfastened and the vehicle is going 6-24 mph, though at faster speeds, they must begin within two seconds. The tone and visual indicator should continue for at least 90 seconds or until the driver’s belt is fastened. In the coming months, IIHS plans to evaluate these same vehicles for additional attributes, including automatic emergency braking and headlights. ---- Didn't realize the commercial models didn't have the seatbelt reminder.

Lincoln Previously Deemed G-Wagon Rival A 'Bad Fit' For Brand's Identify As Ford Authority reported back in February, Lincoln is working on a new body-on-frame vehicle that will utilize the same T6 platform as the Ford Bronco, Ford Ranger, and Ford Everest. It'll reportedly be a two-row SUV with softer lines than the Bronco, designed to compete with the Land Rover Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz G-Class, with a planned launch sometime around 2029-2030. However, it seems as if Lincoln brass previously shot down the idea of creating this very same type of vehicle. According to Automotive News, a group of Lincoln dealers were shown a boxy-looking SUV at a meeting roughly four years ago, though it was covered by a tarp that wasn't removed to fully reveal what was underneath. The luxury brand billed it as a future G-Wagon rival at the time, which would make sense given the tremendous success that particular model has enjoyed for decades to this point. However, it was unclear if Lincoln intended this showing to be a preview of a future product or just a design exercise of sorts. Lincoln brass reportedly never pursued the idea of making that boxy, more off-road-focused SUV a reality, however, as executives didn't feel that it was a good fit for the brand's "quiet flight" identity at the time. Now, it seems as if Lincoln is heading in a very different direction following the appointment of Joaquin Nuño-Whelan as its new CEO a few months ago.

Good News, There’s A New Mitsubishi Eclipse. Bad News, It’s A Rebadged Nissan Leaf | Carscoops Visually, most people will just see a Leaf wearing Mitsubishi emblems, but the Eclipse Sportback does have a few redesigned bits. Up front, the bumper gets a different grille and horizontal intakes with aerodynamic detailing. Despite the official claims, the LED headlights look awfully close to the Nissan units, the difference being that they aren’t connected by a strip of black trim. Should be a BIG hit lol.

Audi’s New Q7 Will Pull Itself Over If You Pass Out While Enjoying A Massage | Carscoops I think they did a good job with it. There's a bigger Q9 coming too.
