According to the Feds, you are not obligated to be in a Union even in a State that is not Right to Work. You can opt out of it at any time. There are a few consequences however, and must be considered before doing so. All that is really required is a basic drafted letter sent return request signature required to the Union and the Company. So, if everyone is through slinging mud and arguing, it seems to me that one way or another you will all be neighbors soon. Those lucky enough to keep jobs that is. So, having said that, does anyone have any information to share about what is actually going on, what will be going on, or anything related to the consolidation at all that would be helpful to get out to the general memberships (plural)? Seems there is always something to fight about, but this thread was originally posted BC (Before Crash) to spread news that people needed and wanted to hear. Seems to me that anyone who wants to debate has that right, but the majority of this thread has turned into nothing more than taunts and profanity, and has made any information exchange very difficult.
