  1. u just made my point.... its the republican party that grows govt. bigger and bigger.. Bush grew it more than any president in history..he came in with a budget of $1.9 trillion and left us with a budget of $3.5 trillion and when u figure in his unjust war bill its even higher.. and why did Bush leave out the budget War$$every year?? he left it out to make his defecit look smaller than it actually was thats why..

so 1.9 TRILLION$$ to $ 3.5 Trillion is an example of a FISCAL CONSERVATIVE then Id hate to see a fiscal unconservative president :hysterical::hysterical:

if Obama grows the annual budget by 80% to $6.3 trillion then u can say he raised it more then Bush :hysterical: untill then Bush will remain the #1 president for growing our budget :hysterical:

Oh My God, I think I just might have become a little dumber after reading this post

  2. fact is if the GOP had the majority in both houses and president McCain the big 3 would be out of business and the retirees would have a much lower pension with NO count em NO VEBA and NO healthcare.. is that what u want to happen??

And keep dreaming the GOP is not going to win back the Senate anytime in the next decade as they have no chance in any midwestern state, the midwest will look like the new england states now. and just how many members of congress are in the new england states??? ZERO as in none! 0000 members of congress and after 2010 NO senators either except for maybe Collins who is a democrat is republican disguise anyways and I expect her to switch parties like Spector did real soon.

Fordworker is a tool and that's fact

  3. Bush signed the bill not Obama... Bush and his GOP senate friends only allowed $25 billion the dems wanted $50. And now there going to make it $50 billion unless the GOP holds it up.

I suppose the TARP handouts were Obamas fault also.. I suppose Bush did not go to the congress and threaten martial law if he and paulson didnt get there bank bailouts.... which in fact is what he did....

lest u forget that the GOP had the congress for 10 years and added 13,500 pork projects :finger: when the dems lost control in 94 there was only 1,500 pork projects so explain how the GOP is the party of fiscal responsibility when they took pork fron 1,500 to 15,000!! please explain it.... :finger:

your the one claiming all this and threaten martial law in this country?? Where do you get your facts, there will never be a martial law here because of all the guns owned here per person. You spew such idiotic nonsense that if people read you comments they just might get one notch closer to stupid. Start backing stuff up.

  4. read the news ahole,, they added $25billion to the program but Im sure the GOP will try that is TRY with there measly 40 votes to fillibuster it.

this was stated back in Sept of 2008 about doubling the retooling loan,

    on.

The auto makers this fall will ask Washington for another $25 billion in low-cost loans, to mass-produce more fuel-efficient vehicles (including models powered by natural gas). Congressional Democrats already have earmarked $25 billion for the retooling effort in an energy bill, so the total request would be $50 billion.

it was talked about it back then

    http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGklYBKEpK8YoA...azine_home_left

and your filibuster theory is nothing but a guess, I've looked everywhere on your claim that the repubs would filibuster the bill if they didn't add Toyota and Nissan to the bill. State your facts instead of your asinine opinions, so who's the asshole now.

On another note,, I don't think any foreign company should be eligible for these loans at all.

  5. they doubled it to $50 billion like I said would happen and it was Bush and the GOP that opened it up to all automakers foreign and domestic not the democrats so get your facts straight. If u recall with your short memory the GOP had enough votes last year to hold up bills and they threatened to fillibuster it if they did n ot add toyota and Nissan to the bill.

thats you GOP if they had control they would give this $$ only to Toyota and Honda/Nissan and the big 3 would not get a dime...

where the hell to you get your dumb ass facts, you have never given any article or site to back up what you say, The Dems suck as well as the Repubs do so get off your kool aide as if the gov't gonna save your ass

  6. I have heard that, but I also heard that the 2012 will be pushed up to jan or feb of 2011, which means production of the old focus will end in late 2010, just over a year from now. the transit job will not support two shifts, and the euro focus is also going to switch over to the new trans.

with gas prices and fuel standards going up, there is no future for a 4 speed.

from what I understand( rumors), that the euro focus will still get the 4 speed a year or 2 more

  7. AND,, we also have to worry about the fn line shutting down in a year or two. the new focus will most likely not use this trans. we may get the new trans job, but rumors and business mags are guessing the dual range getrag trans will be used and made in mexico.

you're right about that but didn't they say the FN trans was suppose to go till 2012? Mainly because of Europe and it's still suppose to go into the Transit as well but for how long for the vehicle?

  8. :hysterical:

Projected 20-30 thousand units a year on the hybrid isn't going to generate anything. Thats like 1 shift for 30 days worth of work on the high end. Anything is better than nothing but the hybrid is extremely low volume.

30,000 a year for hybrid but it is suppose to use the same box as the midrange so in theory, it could also be used to make 6FM transmissions. But until I see a line bolted to the ground with machines along with it then I'll believe we have that line.

  9. :reading: just trying to get you back on post did you hear the # for the signup yet or are the layoff going to be canceled with the up tick in Ford volume just a thought :shades:

there has been meetings going on for the last 2 days, we'll find out more within the next 2 days about layoffs, the sign up for Romeo was around 80 people and 6 people from Van Dyke got it and are going to Romeo.
