I've shopped around on my last 3 vehicles and got at least one full point better than FMC each time. The dealer found the better rates each time too.

The Freestyle is sellling nowhere near what was projected. It was reported in various media outlets that is will be dropped. It was on the news last week the the Mercury version of the Freestyle is no more. I mean no disrespect, but why the hell would a much higher priced Lincoln variant have you working til the cows come home? It might fill a gap to keep you from having too many down weeks, but I don't think a Lincoln "Freestyle" is Chicago's salvation.

Hell, I'm still amazed Ford built the new Mustang. That made way too much sense for Ford.

I toyed with the idea of buying a new truck earlier in the year and the Ford with A-plan was the most expensive of the big three. This was before the employee pricing summer. The GM was $1200 cheaper and the Dodge was $900 cheaper. It might be in your interest to see what you can negotiate the vehicle for and pass on the A-plan all together.

That's probably why the turnout was so poor. Everyone knows voting is a waste of time. Plus, it was the week before X-mas and those that have to drive to a union hall probably didn't want to waste their time. I voted and knew it was a waste of my time when I casted my vote. If the unoin wants it the union gets it.

Wake up people. The vote meant nothing. The union wanted it and got it. That's probably why so few people voted. Everyone knows by now that votes are meaningless. I'm really surprised at how many here are pro union when we continue to get screwed by them. Strengthen the union to overcome Toyota. Please! Get rid of the union and then Ford may have a fighting chance.

I would trade my '06 Mustang for one.
